These terms cover your use of thecluttercollectors.com. If we do a job for you, the written Goods Removal Agreement you and we sign — not this page — sets the terms of that job.

Agreeing to these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site — call us at (508) 851-4850 instead and we will happily talk it through.

What this website is

The site describes what we do and lets you ask for a free walkthrough. Everything on it — service descriptions, timelines, example pricing, service areas — is for information only. Nothing here is a binding offer or a firm quote, and availability and prices change.

Quotes, walkthroughs, and agreements

Our process is a free walkthrough, then a written quote, then a written Goods Removal Agreement signed by both of us before any work begins. Only that signed agreement is binding. If anything on this page conflicts with your signed agreement, the agreement controls for your job.

Payments

Your agreement states the fee and the payment terms — normally either a 50% deposit due when the agreement is executed with the balance due on completion, or the full amount due on completion. Invoices are payable on receipt unless the invoice says otherwise.

Where we offer online card payment, it is processed by Stripe and is also subject to Stripe’s own terms. By submitting a payment you authorize the charge for the amount shown at checkout. We do not receive or store your card number. Card payments can take a few business days to settle.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the cancellation section of your signed agreement, which sets the written-notice period, how a deposit is treated, and any boxing fee owed if work has already started.

What we will not remove

We do not remove materials commonly identified as substantially hazardous, items affixed to the real property, or anything you do not have the right to give away. Your agreement carries the full list, along with the items typically sold with a house that stay behind and the personal items we set aside for you.

Electronic records and signatures

You agree that we may send agreements, invoices, receipts, and notices to you by email, and that an electronic signature on our agreements has the same effect as a signature in ink. Every executed agreement comes with a completion certificate and a verification page, so it can be checked later. If you would rather sign on paper, tell us and we will print it.

Using the site properly

Please do not submit false information or someone else’s details, attempt to break into, overload, or scrape the site, or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Our content

The text, photographs, logo, and design on this site belong to The Clutter Collectors. You are welcome to link to us or share a page; please do not copy the content for commercial use without asking.

Links to other sites

Where we link to another company — a payment processor, a donation partner, a social network — we are not responsible for that site’s content or its handling of your information.

No warranties for the website

The website is provided as is. We do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or up to date. This paragraph is about the website only — it does not limit anything we promise in a signed agreement, and it does not affect your rights under Massachusetts or Rhode Island consumer protection law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, The Clutter Collectors is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Our responsibility for work we perform is set out in your signed agreement, which also covers risk, insurance, and the release of claims once goods are removed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Each signed agreement names its own governing law — Massachusetts or Rhode Island, depending on where the job is — and that choice controls for that job.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
